Description
AF’s mission is to deliver on the promise of equal educational opportunity for all of America’s children. AF believes that all children, regardless of race or economic status, can succeed if they have access to a great education. AF schools provide students with the academic and character skills they need to graduate from top colleges, to succeed in a competitive world, and to serve as the next generation of leaders of their communities. Through these efforts, AF focuses on eliminating the achievement gap between low-income, urban students and affluent, suburban students, as well as provides a model for how the achievement gap can be closed for other charter schools and traditional districts throughout the country.
