Description
The mission of the Academy of Urban Planning is to help students obtain the academic and social tools they need to achieve their goals by stimulating their interests in discovery, self-expression and civic engagement.
We strive to create a community where students, families and staff feel welcomed, where collaboration and partnership are encouraged, where student voice is valued, and where diversity is celebrated.
The urban planning, theme-based curriculum draws students out of the classroom and into their communities to develop skills that will move them towards higher education and careers, while at the same time tapping into their innate curiosity for the world around them. We encourage our students to use their knowledge and leadership skills to act as agents of positive change while at AUP and in all aspects of their lives.
