ACADEMY FOR POSITIVE LEARNING is a Multiple Intelligence, Multi-Age charter school presently located at 128 North C Street,, Lake Worth. We are a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 2003. The purpose of this school is to instill positive learning in a positive environment and therefore promote positive and successful adults. We propose to do this by offering professional developmental seminars, instructional tools, and a diverse curriculum that implements the Kagan teaching methods and the Lindamood-Bell reading program, which falls within the Just For Read Florida and No Child Left Behind Act. Our governing board of directors, teachers and staff share the philosophy that all children can learn and should be given the same opportunities to learn as others. We serve the population K-8th grade. We are a Title One School.
