Academy Central Elementary School is nestled in the heart of the the Gilcrease Hills community. It bolsters the spirit that radiates strong and proud throughout the community. Academy Central is well known for being a “home away from home” for all its students with strong family support. The school is part of Tulsa Public Schools and serves 350+ Pre K through 5th grade students in a community located in the northwest area of Tulsa, Oklahoma which is part of Osage County. The student populace is 86.3% African American, 5.5% Caucasian, 3.4% Native American, 2.1% Asian and 2.7% Hispanic. The school is experiencing a revival of parental and community support . It is definitely Tulsa's Best Kept Secert and students are proud to be an Academy Central Cadet.
