Description
The Abinoojiiyag Center is a youth center that works in collaboration with other local organizations to provide services that encompass and combine leisure, cultural and fitness activities in an attempt to provide alternative, positive activities for at-risk youth to reduce and stop alcohol, tobacco, other drug abuse and criminal behavior among the youth on the Lac du Flambeau Indian Reservation. In conjuction, the Abinoojiiyag Center provides an opportunity and encourages adults within the community to attend and actively volunteer and participate with the youth in these activities.
