Description

Main mission: To help cancer patients and others with life threatening illnesses.

To educate the public on the need to have more expanded access and compassionate use programs for efficacious and safe developmental drugs for cancer patients and others with serious life-threatening who have run out of FDA approved options and cannot get into clinical trials.

Develop creative ways to help pharmaceutical companies do more expanded access and compassionate use. This could save thousands of lives a year.

Help cancer patients who have exhausted conventional treatments for their cancer find clinical trials, expanded access programs and find compassionate use programs.

Work to develop ways to make sure more oncologists and other doctors refer patients to information about clinical trials, especially at NCI’s web sites www.clinicaltrials.gov and www.cancer.gov.
