The Asperger’s Association of New England (AANE) fosters awareness, respect, acceptance and support for individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome and their families. AANE has developed a wide array of services to help our constituents cope with the challenges Asperger’s Syndrome poses in their lives. We provide information, support, education, advocacy, networking, small family grants, resources and referrals to the AS community: families and individuals directly affected by AS, and the educators and other professionals who work with this population. Presenters at our educational events are internationally known experts on AS, who educate our community about the latest research and the interventions most effective in helping people with AS develop to their full potential—but parents and adults with AS also educate our community. We draw people into a mutually supportive community where we can address the challenges of AS together.
