Description
A Work Of Heart is a program coordianted by Clinton County MSU Extension to provide spport for children in foster care in Clinton County and the foster families who care for them. A Work Of Heart services include: educational and support programs for foster parents; monthly family networking dinners; monthly programs for chidlren in foster care, those who have been adopted out of foster care and their siblings; special holiday and spring vacation programs for children in foster care; respite for foster parents; and special assistance for youth aging out of foster care. The program also tries to provide funding for special interests of children that the foster family may not be able to afford - such as paino lessons, ballet slippers, summer camp, etc.
