Description
A Woman's Place, Inc. (AWP) shelters and helps empower victims/survivors of domestic abuse to become safe, secure and self reliant. AWP is dedicated to serving survivors of domestic violence in Weld County by providing safe housing, crisis support, counseling, legal advocacy, children programs, information and referrals, a 24 hour crisis line and outreach education. All services at AWP are confidential. AWP works with clients to achieve self-sufficiency by obtaining housing, utilizing social services and other community agencies and gaining employment. AWP is able to work with clients of diverse backgrounds by providing confidential translation in 150 languages.
