Description
A Better Way provides shelter and services for victims of domestic abuse and their children, and for victims of sexual assault. We also operate a 24-hour crisis hotline for those who are in any type of crisis, including those who are suicidal. We provide check-in calls to homebound elderly and disabled persons. Additionally, A Better Way operates a transitional housing facility, called Passage Way, for abuse victims. We have alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention programs and after-school programs for character- building and academic skill-building.
