Description
15-LOVE is a 510(C)(3) charitable corporation in Albany, NY that provides life skills to underprivileged youth, through tennis.
Specifically our mission is to “reach out in a loving caring way to the youth of the Capital Region (using tennis as the medium), with emphasis on our inner cities.” Within this mission, we have six operating themes: to stress the importance of education; to instill positive values; to promote good health; to foster multicultural relationships; to support family preservation; and to encourage good sportsmanship.
15-LOVE is a year round program which serves over 2400 participants, ages 8-18, annually. In addition to on court tennis lessons, we provide off court life skills sessions after each lesson. In addition, we run a book club for area third graders, and leadership weekends and college prep programs to high school students.
