Founded in the late 1950?s by an entrepreneur and inventor, Al Liguori, National Pen started as a humble tool and dye company in the Bronx, New York. Its founder, a machinist by trade, made some of the first ball point pens ever produced in the United States. His innovative designs were sought after by leaders in the writing instrument industry and soon the company was manufacturing pens to the Advertising Specialty Trade.
